DARREN ALEXANDER: (23, Striker) Forward signed from Hednesford Town in July 2007. Darren was the Pitmen's leading scorer last season and has also played for Eccleshall, Rocester, Chasetown and AFC Telford United.

KYLE ARMSTRONG: (27, Midfielder) Versatile player who can operate in defence or midfield signed from Colwyn Bay in February 2008. Kyle has also played for Burscough, Southport and York City after starting his career at Preston North End.

STEVE BRANNAN: (21, Midfielder) Midfield player who was signed from Hednesford Town in September 2006. Steve scored a spectacular goal at Guiseley on the final day of last season that helped keep Leek in the Premier Division and has now made over 50 appearances for the Blues.

LOUIS BRISCOE: (19, Striker) Striker who played in the youth and reserve teams at Port Vale and made five appearances in the first team. Louis has a short spell at Moor Green last season following his release from Vale and signed for Leek in July 2007.

MATTHEW COOPER: (19, Goalkeeper) Goalkeeper signed from League Two side Macclesfield Town where he was third choice last season. Matt has already impressed with some excellent performances.

ANTHONY DANYLYK: (25, Midfielder) Talented midfielder who joined Leek Town from Stone Dominoes in March 2002 and quickly established himself as a vital member of the Blues side. Anthony was released at the end of the 2003/04 season after making exactly 100 appearances and subsequently joined Belper Town. He returned to Harrison Park in August 2005 and spent two further seasons with Leek, being voted Hoof! Website Player of the Year in both 2005/06 and 2006/07, as well as winning the Supporters Player of the Year award in the latter season. He joined Witton Albion in the close season but soon returned for his third spell at Leek in September 2007 and was swiftly made club captain and has now passed the 200 appearance mark for the club.

OLIVER EDWARDS: (19, Striker) Prolific striker who has made the step up from the all conquering youth team of last season. Olly scored 38 goals in all competitions and opened his account for the first team at Fleetwood Town.

CARL FROST: (24, Striker)

ROB HAWTHORNE: (23, Midfielder) Midfielder who originally signed in May 2004, after being released from the Crewe Alexandra academy side. Rob passed a century of appearances for Leek and was named the Managers Player of the Year for 2006/07 before departing for Hednesford Town in July 2007, however he swiftly returned to Harrison Park in September of the same year.

DOM HEATH: (27, Midfielder) Midfield player signed from Shifnal Town in February 2008. Dominic has also played for Hednesford Town this season.

STEVE HODGSON: (26, Goalkeeper) Goalkeeper who originally moved to Harrison Park in February 2003 from Nuneaton Borough. Steve began his career at Manchester City and moved on to Macclesfield Town. He is also a former England youth international and was voted both Player's and Supporters player of the year in 2003/04. In September 2004 he left to join Stocksbridge Park Steels but returned to Leek in March 2008 after a period out of the game.

ROB HOPLEY: (20, Striker) Striker who played an important role in Winsford United's NWCFL Division Two title win last season with over 20 goals. Rob signed for Leek in July 2007.

WAYNE JOHNSON: (34, Central Defender) Central defender who was originally signed from Congleton Town in February 2001. He spent almost four years at Harrison Park, many as club captain and was voted joint Players Player of the Season in 2002/03 before leaving to join Kidsgrove Athletic. Wayne rejoined the club in January 2007 after spells with Hednesford Town and Rocester and has now made over 200 appearances for the club. In October 2007 he was named as Paul Moore's assistant manager and took over as manager when Moore departed the following month. He has also played for Newcastle Town, Witton Albion and local side Ball Haye Green.

MATT JOHNSON: (27, Midfielder) Defender who can play in either full back position. Matt was signed from Shifnal Town in February 2008 and has previously been on the books of AFC Telford United and Bromsgrove Rovers.

KENNY KEYS: (17, Defender) Young defender who came to Harison Park in March 2008 on work experience from Stoke City.

PATRICK MCFADDEN: (21, Striker)

ADAM OAKES: (21, Midfielder) Left sided midfielder signed from Stalybridge Celtic in January 2008. He started out with Glossop Juniors, before being spotted by a scout, and taken into the Stockport County set-up where he played for the reserves. He has been loaned out by Stockport to several teams, including Winsford, Mansfield and Eastbourne. After being released he joined Gamesley where he helped them to the Mid-Cheshire League Division Two title.

CHRIS SMITH: (19, Striker) Forward signed from NWCFL side Maine Road in January 2008. Chris has also played for Alsager Town.

STEVE TAAFFE: (28, Striker)

DAVE TICKLE: (24, Left Back) Left sided player who can operate in defence or midfield. Dave began his career on the books of Manchester City and then played for Leigh RMI, Warrington Town and Witton Albion before signing for the Blues in August 2005. He left at the end of last season to briefly rejoin Witton Albion but returned to Harrison Park in August 2007 and has now passed the hundered appearance mark.

JAMES WALSHAW: (27, Striker) Striker signed from Ossett Town in February 2008. Jamie had been with the West Yorkshire side for a number of seasons and was one of the league's top scorers in 2005/06 when he netted over 30 goals.

NICK WARD: (22, Central Defender) A strong central defender who can also play in midfield. Nick previously enjoyed two spells with Stone Dominoes before signing for Rocester at the start of last season. He joined Leek Town in January 2008.

SAM WOOD: (20, Midfielder) Young midfielder who joined the Blues in July 2006 from Burton Albion. After establishing himself in the first team he moved on to Hednesford Town in the close season but returned to Leek in October 2007.
